Test-scheduling procedures

  • Work with Accessible Ed & Disability Resources to verify your eligibility for testing adjustments.
  • Make specific requests for testing adjustments within courses and provide formal notification to instructors. You can do this in person with Accessible Ed & Disability Resources or online using the online accommodation system.
  • Schedule exams using the online accommodation system or with the assistance of Accessible Ed & Disability Resources.
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation after your request is submitted.
  • Both you and your instructor will receive an email confirmation after Testing staff have reviewed and approved your scheduled exams.
  • You can log in to the online accommodation system at any point to view your scheduled exams or to cancel requests.

Test-taking reminders and rules

  • Valid picture identification is required at all test sessions.
  • Testing will not collect or disseminate any non-proctored materials, i.e., homework, papers, surveys, or take-home tests.
  • If you arrive late for a scheduled session, you’ll be allowed the remainder of the appointment for testing.
  • Exams will not be rescheduled after the required exam date without written approval from the instructor.
  • You aren’t allowed to take any breaks during testing unless it is an approved accommodation or included in the Testing Contract by the instructor.
  • No electronic devices are allowed while testing unless specifically noted by the instructor on the Testing Contract.
  • Books, bags, and other belongings must be left in a designated area at the exam site.
  • No children or visitors are allowed in Testing Centers.
  • Students suspected of cheating or violating testing procedures will be reported to their instructor and Testing Center administration.
  • Testing areas are designated fragrance-free areas. Avoid wearing perfumed products.
