Cherry Park SUN: Have fun helping kids this Summer

Cherry Park SUN’s summer program begins July 13th and we need your help. We are looking for assistant activity leaders, tutors, and mentors. Each position requires a background check and interest in working with children. Assistant activity leaders help implement activities such as art, cooking, and drama. Tutors will help students with fun and engaging math activities. Mentors would offer individualized support to children creating positive relationships and guidance.

Cherry Park SUN’s summer programming begins on July 13 and ends August 7. The program operates 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. If you are interested in helping out this summer please contact the volunteer coordinator today.

About the Organization

Cherry Park Elementary SUN Community School Program is operated by Metropolitan Family Service. Our program here at Cherry Park Elementary works with more than 511 students, their family members, and the community at large. We offer social service assistance, after school enrichment classes, summer enrichment and academic classes, events, and mentoring to the community in and around Cherry Park Elementary.
