PCC Sylvania Women’s Resource Center: Volunteers needed to fight harrassment!
Posted by hannah.cherry
On February 17th, the Sylvania Women’s Resource Center will be putting up posters all around campus to help fight street harassment.
The posters will say things like, “catcalling is not a compliment” and “Women don’t walk down the street for your entertainment.” If this sounds like something you’d be interested in doing, come help out!
We will be meeting in the Women’s Resource Center (CC268) at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 17th. We will start with snacks, a rundown on how & where to flyer, and a brief discussion about why we are doing this project.
If you have class at 10:00am and can’t make it, let us know and we can try to accommodate your schedule.
Please RSVP to wrc@pcc.edu if you will be joining us.

About the Organization
The PCC Sylvania Women’s Resource Center (WRC) was founded in 1995 by Deborah Evind and was created to provide a central location for services that support the academic achievement of women, while working to increase access to education for women, improve the retention of women students at the college, and encourage women’s leadership development.
