Join Green Lents for our monthly work parties at Malden Court Community Orchard!
The Malden Court Community Orchard is a multi-story food forest located in the Lents neighborhood. Our goals are to create and maintain a community orchard that reflect the needs, desires and dreams of our diverse community. The top priorities for the community orchard, as expressed by our community during canvasing & public design meetings are:
Growing Food & Harvesting, Building Community & Collaboration, Creating Learning & Skill Building Opportunities, Improving Watershed Health, and Sharing Abundance.
The easiest way to get involved with this project is to come to one of our monthly work parties! Our next work party will be focused on invasive species management and soil health. Snacks, tools, and coffee will be provided! No RSVP required!
When: Saturday, March 19th from 9-12 (work parties happen every 3rd Saturday of the month)
Where: Orchard Site at 7677 SE 87th Ave
