Working to fulfill our mission of “ending domestic and sexual violence by providing confidential support services and education to empower our community,”
Call to Safety operates a comprehensive 24/7 crisis line and sexual assault advocacy program. Our Core Values are empowerment, survivor-led services, social justice, community education, and mutual support & unity. As part of our social just value, we are committed to becoming an anti-racist organization.
Call to Safety is a volunteer-driven agency that operates with the support of dedicated members and volunteers. Our Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Volunteer Advocates provide over the phone advocacy, information and referrals to domestic violence and sexual assault survivors who call the 24-hour crisis line. This occurs on-site at the Call to Safety office, located at a confidential address.
We welcome callers and VOLUNTEERS of ALL GENDERS!
Our next free, 50+ hour comprehensive training will start September 17th, 2016. More information about volunteering and a link to our application can be found on our volunteer webpage.
