Our Extra Life Gaming Marathon is only a week away (Saturday, November 5th @ Sylvania), and we are getting more members of our team every day! Our team members will be participating in computer, D&D, and Pokemon Go gaming, all while raising money for the kids at OSHU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.

You can still sign up to be part of the PCC Team:

1. Go to extra-life.org
2. Click Join in the upper right-hand corner
3. Click Extra Life Classic
4. Click Join a Team
5. Select the PCC Sylvania & OR Doernbecher Children’s Hospital
6. Complete the remainder of the registration form
7. Send an e-mail to Diane Shingledecker dshingle@pcc.edu informing her you are registered and ready to play!

Once you’re registered, here’s an easy way to help raise money for our Extra Life team: Join the Facebook event and put the following message out on Facebook all your friends and family will know what you’re doing next week. Just copy & paste the following paragraph into a Facebook posting. When you do, the link to the Extra Life website will show up automatically:

Next Saturday, Nov. 5th, I will be joining a group of PCC students, faculty, & staff in the international Extra Life Gaming Marathon to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network. Here in Portland, we are playing for OSHU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. At PCC, some of us will be playing computer games for up to 12 hours straight, joining guided tours to play Pokemon Go around campus, and others of us who are ESOL students will be playing Dungeons & Dragons to practice our English skills.
