Sunshine Division: Upcoming May Volunteer Opportunities! (May 6th, 18th, and 20th-21st)

May means some great volunteer opportunities!
The Great Inflatable Race – Saturday May 6, 8:30-12pm at Portland International Raceway
Shifts include race day registration, inflatable bouncers, water station, traffic control, and finish line cheering team, email me for more info and to sign up.
SHINE! Spring Fundraiser – Thursday, May 18, 5-10pm at the Melody Ballroom
Shifts include Wall of Wine (1 needed), Silent Auction/Runner (1), Heads or Tails sales (1), Recorders of the appeal and live auction (1), Live Auction/ Special Appeal Runners (4), Spotters/ Crowd Control (2).
Hunger Match Weekend – Saturday and Sunday May 20-21 at New Seasons Williams
We need volunteers for shifts from 12-2pm and 2-4pm both days. We need one person for each shift.

About the Organization
Started in 1923 by the Portland Police Bureau as a way to address the growing food insecurity in Portland during the Depression. What used to be just an emergency food box program, is now a full time food pantry and clothing closet in North Portland. We serve over 13,000 people a year with free food and clothing.
