PCC Newberg Center Learning Garden: Cob Natural Building Workshops!

Posted by

Volunteer Opportunities NewsletterLearning to mix and build with natural cob (sand, clay, and straw) is fun and rewarding as you get to meet new friends, build community, and help the Learning Garden finish the cob structure.

This free event offers an opportunity to engage with the PCC Newberg Center Learning Garden and learn the time-tested and valuable skill of cob natural building. Come prepared to do the “cob dance” and then apply the mixture onto our Learning Garden cob structure that is more than halfway built.

Wear clothes that can get a little dirty, shoes or boots that can get muddy, and bring a rain jacket, sunscreen, and water bottle. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

All workshops are 9am-1pm 135 Werth Blvd. in Newberg.
