Willamette West Habitat for Humanity: Build Homes, Change Lives!
Posted by hannah.cherry
We are in search of energetic, passionate, and dedicated volunteers who are interested in breaking from the norm and coming out to buckle on a tool belt, grab a hammer, and build a home.
We are currently building the last 6 of 24 homes at our newest neighborhood, Allen Estates. The site is located just off of Allen and Hall Blvd in Beaverton. Our typical build days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:15 a.m.-4 p.m. with half days available upon request.
No experience in construction is necessary! We will teach you all that you need to know the day of! At this time, you can go to our website to register and sign up for a volunteer day. Once you have registered, you will receive an email that will confirm your build day and provide you with all the information you will need to know for the build day.

About the Organization
Willamette West Habitat for Humanity is your independent, local Habitat for Humanity office. We are part of a global, nonprofit housing organization that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Our mission is to see a world where everyone has a decent and affordable place to live.
About the Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter
The Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter allows students, faculty, and staff at PCC a more comprehensive look at volunteer needs and opportunities from our community partners. Our hope is that the newsletter will allow subscribers to stay better informed about community service opportunities in the tri-county areas of Portland, Oregon, as well as non-profit internships and scholarships available locally and nationally.
