Posted by hannah.cherry
Plant Trees w/Friends of Trees!
On December 2nd, Friends of Trees will be planting ~ 90 large street & yard trees in Oregon City and we need your help! No planting experience necessary–we provide gloves, tools, and trained leadership to help you plant trees safely and correctly. And did we mention free breakfast treats and a yummy potluck lunch? This will be our only event in Oregon City this season, so we’d love your support to make it great!
When: Saturday, Dec 2nd, 9am-1pm
Please arrive around 8:45am to be assigned a planting crew and enjoy some free breakfast snacks and hot coffee/tea. The event will start promptly at 9:00am
Where: Zion Lutheran Church, 720 Jefferson St, Oregon City, OR

Groups of Volunteers Welcome! We love a planting posse! We ask that any group of 5 or more simply pre-register via our Group Registration Form.
We provide gloves, tools and guidance — no tree planting experience needed! Be sure to come dressed for the weather wearing sturdy closed-toe shoes, work clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, a hat, and some warm socks!

About the Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter
The Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter allows students, faculty, and staff at PCC a more comprehensive look at volunteer needs and opportunities from our community partners. Our hope is that the newsletter will allow subscribers to stay better informed about community service opportunities in the tri-county areas of Portland, Oregon, as well as non-profit internships and scholarships available locally and nationally.
