Posted by hannah.cherry
Each year, the last Saturday in February is National TRIO Day, and there are many ways in which it can be celebrated.
One way is by getting involved in the campus’ local community, and having some fun while you’re at it!
On Wednesday, Feb. 28, Cascade TRIO’s Peer-Mentoring Leadership Program Presents:
NATIONAL TRIO DAY OF SERVICE with CASCADE TRIO STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
Wednesday, February 28th 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Meet at the TRIO office to start – Student Services Building (SSB) Rm. 301
- Join us and explore local businesses and the resources they have for students and the community.
- Students who participate will get a free gift and enjoy some food on TRIO!
- There will be some walking, so you might want to be wearing comfortable shoes. We hope you can join us!

About the Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter
The Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter allows students, faculty, and staff at PCC a more comprehensive look at volunteer needs and opportunities from our community partners. Our hope is that the newsletter will allow subscribers to stay better informed about community service opportunities in the tri-county areas of Portland, Oregon, as well as non-profit internships and scholarships available locally and nationally.
