Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District: Summer Event Volunteering Opportunities!

Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District needs volunteers for some exciting summer events!
Our summer volunteer events are always fun, enjoyable one-time opportunities. Volunteer for a shift and stay for the event! These events are great to volunteer as a group, or as an individual!
Upcoming events
12th Annual Family Triathlon
- Saturday, July 28th, 8:00am – 11:30am
- This is a fun event for the whole family to enjoy! This event consists of a 50-yard swim; a 2-mile bike ride, and a 1/3 mile run! Volunteers 16 years of age and older are needed to monitor the course to make sure participants stay on course as well as at the finish line to celebrate the finishers and give them their medals.

Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center’s 20th Annual Big Truck Day
- Saturday, August 4th
- There are two volunteer shifts available for this event:
- 7:00am – 11:00am
- 10:30am – 2:45pm
- Big Truck Day is an opportunity for our neighbors, both big and small, to walk around, touch, feel, and climb into fire engines, freight trucks, cranes, buses, tow trucks, and more!

- We are seeking volunteers to help with face-painting, greeting, parking, or photography! Ages 14 and up!

The Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter allows students, faculty, and staff at PCC a more comprehensive look at volunteer needs and opportunities from our community partners.
