Friends of Tryon Creek: Tryon Nature Center Volunteer
Posted by hannah.cherry
Nature Center volunteers are the face of Tryon Creek State Natural Area.
They welcome visitors, provide information about the park and programs, promote membership, answer phone calls, and sell merchandise at the Nature Store. This volunteer role requires an initial interview and training. Volunteers are supported by Friends of Tryon Creek and Oregon State Parks staff. Shifts are from 9am-12:30pm or 12:30pm – 4pm, and can be scheduled any day of the week. Time commitments can vary from weekly to once a month depending on your schedule.

About the Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter
The Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter allows students, faculty, and staff at PCC a more comprehensive look at volunteer needs and opportunities from our community partners. Our hope is that the newsletter will allow subscribers to stay better informed about community service opportunities in the tri-county areas of Portland, Oregon, as well as non-profit internships and scholarships available locally and nationally.
