OHSU: Volunteer with the OHSU Farmers Market & Sustainable Food Projects

OHSU Farmers Market is looking for summer volunteers!
The positions start in mid May and run through the end of September. We are requesting a minimum commitment of 40 hours.
Volunteer positions include:
- Hosting a consignment table of all local goods on the market day
- Wholesale collection of goods for use in a retail setting
- Food service experience in a commercial kitchen
- Set up & break down logistics of the farmers market
- Token disbursement, data collection, & communications outreach
- Tracking pilot recycling projects
- Compliance checks with Nutrition and Food Service regulations
Eligibility: 18 years of age; able to lift minimum of 20 lbs; friendly and enthusiastic, willingness to obtain food handlers license (paid by OHSU).
Available Shifts: 1hr to all day shifts, anytime on Tuesdays between 8am-5pm, June – Sept, min of 40 hours
