PCC Newberg Center Learning Garden: Cob Natural Building Community Workshop

Posted by

Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter
Want to learn how to mix and build with natural cob (sand, clay, and straw) and build community at the same time?

Are you interested in this age-old, low carbon footprint building method? It’s a fun and rewarding experience, as you get to meet new friends, practice community-building, and help the Learning Garden finish its beautiful cob structure in picturesque Newberg. Plus, you get to check out the learning garden (we have a permaculture-based design, are promoting pollinator-friendly activities, and something new is always blooming). Bring a water bottle and sunscreen; wear shoes/boots that can get dirty. Refreshments will be served.

Date(s) & Time:

  • Friday, June 2nd
  • Saturday, June 10th
  • 9am-1pm

Location: PCC Newberg Center Learning Garden 135 Werth Blvd. Newberg, OR.
