Friends of Trees: Volunteers Needed for Tree-Planting Fun in East Portland – Feb 27th!

Friends of Trees invites the PCC community to join us at our next neighborhood planting in the neighborhoods of East Portland on Saturday, Feb 27th!
This planting will take place in the Argay, Parkrose, Parkrose Heights, Russell, and Wilkes neighborhoods. Spending a few hours to plant trees with us will bring health, economic, and social benefits to this area for generations to come!
When: Saturday, Feb 27th, 9am-1pm
Where: St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 10029 NE Prescott St. Portland, Oregon 97220
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered in time to enjoy some free breakfast snacks and hot coffee/tea. The event will start promptly at 9:00am.
- We provide gloves, tools and guidance–no planting experience needed!
- Be sure to come dressed for the weather, wearing sturdy shoes, and get ready to have fun!
- And be sure to stick around after planting for a delicious neighborhood potluck lunch!
