Cascade Gallery presents paintings by S. Tudyk that explore time through landscapes with deteriorating structures of billboards and old drive-in theaters. Quiet paintings encourage viewers to slow down and contemplate the character of spaces that held a different message in another time. Taking from her experience studying and working in illustration, letterpress and advertising design, S. Tudyk has developed a passion for symbols of communication.

S. Tudyk is a 2001 graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, with a BFA in Illustration and a BFA in Graphic Design. She also attended The Illustration Academy hosted at Ringling College of Art and Design in 2009. Further information regarding the artist can be found at tudyk.com.
