Please join us for a reading and discussion with writer and storyteller, Paula Carter, author of the essay collection No Relations (Black Lawrence Press 2017).

Carter’s work has appeared in Kenyon Review, The Southern Review, Salon, TriQuarterly, and Prairie Schooner. As a professional freelance writer she has contributed to publications such as Writer’s Digest, Creative Nonfiction, Chicago Magazine, and Harvard Gazette. Based in Chicago, she is a part of the nonfiction storytelling scene and has performed with The Moth, This Much is True, and 2nd Story, where she is a company member. She is the editorial manager of the digital magazine INTER and holds an M.F.A. in fiction from Indiana University, Bloomington.
