Bloomtown: Student Art Show Opening – Thursday, January 25th, 5:30-6:30pm, Sylvania CC209/Advising and Counseling
Carrie Weikel-Delaplane
Portland, once a boomtown, has sometimes been referred to as Stumptown, and even Doomtown. One group of student artists under the guidance of instructor Bruce Conkle has chosen to refer to our fair City as Bloomtown.
Please join us on Thursday, January 25th from 5:30-6:30pm for the opening reception of Bloomtown, a student art show, displayed in the Advising and Counseling Area in the Sylvania Campus Center (CC 209).
This is the third exhibit to be displayed in the Advising and Counseling area in the Campus Center at the Sylvania campus. It is the result of a partnership between the Art Department and Student Development to feature student art in our campus spaces.
