Call To Action: Sign up to become one of PCC’s new Inclusion Advocates today!  The screening and selection of new employees has a critical impact.  PCC is committed to ensuring equity and inclusion at each screening stage, and strongly promote diversity in our hiring.

Program Objective: Train, develop and support a cohort of volunteer Inclusion Advocates to participate on PCC Screening Committees to broaden the lens of equity and inclusion, and be culturally competent advocates in the College’s recruiting, screening and hiring.  This program was developed jointly as a partnership of OEI and HR.

Training Objective: As an Inclusion Advocate, you will serve on a Screening Committee, advocating for inclusion, and recognition and discussion of unconscious or structural bias that may be impacting applicants.  This initial 2-Module training is intended to arm you with knowledge and tools to facilitate this role on the screening committee.

Visit the training details page to register! You will need to first request the curriculum and complete the pre-work. Once you have done that you can register for an in-person session. If you have questions about the program contact: Alisa Hampton at alisa.hampton@pcc.edu or  971-722-5856.
