Welcome Matt Coleman, HR Training & Development Coordinator!

We are excited to announce that Matt Coleman has joined the Professional and Organizational Development team as the HR Training and Development Coordinator!
In this role, he will design training and instructional resources for the new Talent Management System and facilitate training sessions in support of HR’s strategic plan. Matt joins us from Portland State University where he coordinated all training activities for the Facilities & Property Management department and spearheaded process improvement initiatives across the division.
Matt has over seven years of experience in the adult education industry and is particularly passionate about working in higher education and supporting the mission of student success. He believes that a happy, engaged and well-trained workforce is paramount to providing students the best possible experience and has a track record of coordinating learning initiatives that help organizations meet their goals.
When he’s not working, you can probably find him attending a concert or strolling around an art museum.
