The faculty of the Social Science division will present a forum on the fate of Ballot Measure 16, the physician-assisted suicide measure, on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at noon, on the Sylvania Campus of Portland Community College, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. The presentation will be held in the Little Theatre (CT Building, Room 201). The event is open to the public free of charge.

Panelists who sit on both sides of the issue, as well as several neutral panel members, will debate the topic. They include Peter Goodwin, M.D., department of Family Medicine at OHSU; Miles J. Edwards, M.D., division of Pulmonary and Critical Care, OHSU; Michael Sonnleitner, Ph.D., political science faculty member at PCC; Marjorie Bernhard, concerned citizen; Deena Osting, PCC student; Rusty DeBord, concerned citizen.
