PCC Small Business Classes at Hillsboro Chamber

HILLSBORO – Portland Community College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is holding classes starting April 8 at the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce designed to arm prospective or recent small business owners with the skills to succeed.
The classes assist students in developing business and marketing plans and provide individual counseling services to those striking out on their own. Classes include Business Basics, April 8, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., and Starting Your Business, May 13, 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Both classes are held at the Hillsboro Chamber offices, located at 334A S.E. 5th Ave. in Hillsboro.
In addition to the classes at the chamber, PCC is also starting small business classes and consulting services at Centro Cultural, 1110 N. Adair in Cornelius, Feb. 12 to June 10. Courses are in English and Spanish.
