It's Not Too Late to Start Summer School at PCC Cascade Campus

Photos and story by

There’s still time to earn college credits in several of PCC’s lower division college transfer classes.

Starting Monday, Aug. 17, Cascade Campus will offer four, four-week-long courses in psychology, sociology, history and economics. All provide three college credits and all transfer to Oregon’s universities and to other private colleges and universities.

According to Lynn Brokaw, Cascade Campus psychology instructor, students do not need to have taken previous courses in the sequence to enroll in these classes and earn college credits.

The courses run Mondays through Thursdays and include: Psychology 203A, 7:30-9:20 a.m., Economics 202, 10-11:50 a.m.; Sociology 206, noon to 1:50 p.m.; U.S. History 203, 1-2:50 p.m.

Please call admissions at Cascade, 978-5282, to register for these classes and to inquire about fall term. Fall term at Portland Community College begins on Sept. 21.
