PCC Northview Gallery Features Oregon Landscape Photographers

Portland Community College exhibits 13 Oregon photographers in its opening show this fall. Curated by Celina Patterson, who teaches photography at the college, the Northview Gallery exhibit opens Thursday, Sept. 30 and runs through Oct. 29.

A reception for the artists will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the gallery. Christopher Rauschenberg, one of the featured photographers, will give a lecture on the exhibit on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. in Room 112 of the Sylvania Campus library.

The photographers, all well-known in the Portland area, were chosen for their unique view of the Oregon landscape. The photographers include Christopher Burkett, Douglas Frank, Barbara Gilson, Jon Gottshall, Phil Harris, Ann Hughes, Stu Levy, Celina Patterson, Christopher Rauschenberg, Rick Rollins, Alan Simmons, Steve Terrill and Terry Toedtemeier.

The gallery is located on PCC’s Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave., in the CT Building, Room 214. For more information, please call 977-4264.
