PORTLAND – PCC’s Small Business Development Center will be offering its business lecture series targeting Hispanic-owned businesses. The event is co-sponsored by the Metropolitan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Administration (SBA) and Portland Community College’s SBDC.
The topics include E-commerce on Jan. 27, Human Resources on Feb. 24, and Total Quality Management on April 27. All sessions are held at PCC’s Central Portland Workforce Training Center, 1626 S.E. Water Ave., (near OMSI) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $80 for the series or $30 per session with lunch included in the seminar cost.
Mario Pedraza, a small business counselor for PCC, said the series was offered last year for the first time. "It is affordable, informative and a great way to network with other Latino entrepreneurs," he said. Please call PCC at 503-978-5080 to sign up for the series or contact Mario Pedraza, 503-533-2712, for more information.
