Are You Single? Get Out and Mingle!

PORTLAND ‘ Get together with other single professionals while enjoying a fun, learning experience and getting a taste of popular downtown restaurants. The series of non-credit events are offered through Portland Community College and co-sponsored by Dinner with Friends.
- Oregon Wines 101 ‘ The best of Oregon’s vineyards will be experienced right from the heart of downtown at Oregon Wines, located at 515 S.W. Broadway. The session will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 30. The focus will be on the Willamette Valley’s noble grape, Pinot Noir, but students will get to savor a variety of vintages. There will be an optional dinner afterwards at Pazzo Ristorante with no host. Cost of the class is $15.
- Old Town Walking Tour ‘ Discover some of downtown Portland’s most impressive buildings, artwork, and the fountains in this fun and informative tour from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 15. Along the way learn the secrets of Portland’s past. There will be a no host lunch at Huber’s, Portland’s oldest restaurant, located at 411 S.W. Third. The cost is $25.
- How to Make a great First Impression ‘ Elizabeth Marcum will share powerful strategies for strengthening this crucial social and professional skill of first impressions from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19 at Morrison Park, located at 803 S.W. Morrison. Afterwards, there will be an elaborate dinner, live jazz music and magic acts at Brasserie Montmarte (dinner included). The cost is $35.
