Stocks and Bonds and Portfolios, Oh My!

BEAVERTON ‘ Are you meeting your financial goals? It means much more than just making sure you’ve always got enough in your checking account to pay for your morning lattes. Financial planning and security are issues that affect anyone who has concerns about their future. Portland Community College has developed the non-credit class Financial Workshop for the Individual Investor to help alleviate those concerns with sound advice for a solid financial present and future.

The class consists of discussion on meeting goals, evaluating stocks, bonds, mutual funds and insurance products. Special consideration will be given to planning for your retirement.

Cost is $41. Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays between Aug. 15 and 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in room 1542 of the PCC Workforce Training Center, located at N.W. 185th and Walker Road.
