PCC Recreation and Fitness Classes Set

TIGARD – Non-credit classes in tai chi, yoga and water aerobics are being offered this winter by Portland Community College.Tai Chi Quan-Short Form, will meet from 3-4 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 9 through March 20, at the Tigard Senior Center, 8815 S.W. O’Mara St. The instructor is Connie Zhang. Cost is $40.Two sessions of Yoga for the Older Adult will be offered on Mondays, Jan. 8 through March 19, at the senior center. The first session will meet from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a second session from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The instructor is Cassandra Baisden. Cost for each session is $50.Yoga Level I and II will be offered from 6 to 8:15 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 8 through March 19, at Fowler Middle School, 10865 S.W. Walnut St. The instructor is Urszula Wisniewski. Cost is $62.Great Water Aerobic Workout will meet from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, Jan. 8 through March 19, at the Tigard Swim Center, 8680 S.W. Durham Road.
