PCC's Palm Pilot Class Teaches How to Avoid a Technology Crash and Burn

HILLSBORO, Ore. – If owning a Palm Pilot has meant hours and hours of trying to figure out how exactly it works and what it can do for you, then Portland Community College has the non-credit class to help you better understand this new technology. The class, Hand-Held Computers- Palms and Handspring, consists of two classes designed to will help people get the best use out of their instruments and feel comfortable with them.The first class will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each Thursday from April 5 to April 19 and the second will also go from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday from May 3 to May 17. The cost is $35. Both classes will occur in room S238 at Century High School, located at 2000 S.W. 234th Ave. The classes will help familiarize the beginning user with the core functions of a Palm operating system as well other functions.
