Media Advisory: PCC to Host High School Career Day at Rock Creek

ROCK CREEK CAMPUS – The Diesel Service Technology program at Portland Community College’s Rock Creek Campus is hosting a High School Career Day. Local industry representatives will be participating with training of about 300 students from a number of local high schools from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 20 in Building 2 on the Rock Creek Campus, located at 17705 N.W. Springville Road.This is a hands-on learning fair where students can perform repair procedures and speak to industry trainers and employers. These demonstrations include air conditioning trouble-shooting, anti-lock braking systems, electrical component trouble-shooting, electronic engine diagnostics, hydraulic system trouble-shooting and more.
