Microsoft Office Training Program Offers Tools for Jumpstarting Career Advancement

PORTLAND, Ore. – Whether you’re just entering the workforce or looking to improve your skills, Portland Community College’s Microsoft Office Training Program: Level 1 will help you build your confidence with the software package most companies depend on for computer use. Microsoft Office Training, a non-credit course, will give students the fundamentals to mastering Word, Windows, Excel and Powerpoint. Students will work one-on-one with computers in class, and have the option of earning a program completion award. The class will be offered twice this spring: from 6 to 8 p.m. every Monday between April 1 and May 20; and 7 to 9 p.m. every Tuesday between April 9 and May 28. All classes will be held at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center, 6651 S.W. Capitol Highway. Cost is $137. For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-614-7305.
