PCC Presents Rick Steves Travel Series

PORTLAND, Ore. – Experienced travelers will present the popular Rick Steves Travel Series in a non-credit course this spring. Steves’ style of travel is showcased in his popular public broadcasting show. Whether planning a short trip or a summer-long adventure, this travel class will offer practical tools for making the most of your journey. Highlights of the series will include discussions of European rail skills, travel journaling, and profiles of Spain, Portugal, Greece and Scandinavia. The Rick Steves travel style is especially geared to help travelers plan trips with confidence and maneuver easily in any cultural destination. The series offers five sessions: Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., noon to 2 p.m., and 3 to 5 p.m.; Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. All presentations will meet at the Sylvania Campus, in Room 323 of the HT building, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Cost is $65.
