Conversational Spanish Offered in St. Helens

ST. HELENS, Ore. – Portland Community College will offer conversational Spanish in St. Helens this summer through non-credit classes. Two levels of conversational Spanish give students the opportunity to learn in a supportive environment from instructor Lucia Torres, a native speaker. Spanish Conversation: Beginning will cover the basics of vocabulary and commonly used phrases for travelers. The class will meet from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. every Tuesday, June 25 through Aug. 13, at PCC’s St. Helens Center, 1510 N. St. Helens Street, Suite G. Tuition is $48 with a $3 fee payable to the instructor. Spanish Conversation: All Levels will deepen the usage of vocabulary and grammar, with an emphasis on conversation. The class will meet from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. every Tuesday, June 25 through Aug. 13, also at PCC’s St. Helens Center. Tuition is $42 with a $3 fee payable to the instructor.
