'Hip Hop' Adds Modern Moves to Your Workout

HILLSBORO, Ore. – The urban street has always given rise to the latest in dance moves in pop culture. Now, Portland Community College brings street dance to the gym in an exhilarating new workout: Hip Hop Aerobics. Instructor Margaret Ambrosino will teach students the latest in dance steps while offering a rigorous way to stay in shape. The non-credit class will meet from 7:30 to 9 p.m. every Thursday, June 27 through Aug. 8, at the Japan Karate Federation, 338 S.W. Oak St., Hillsboro. Cost is $41.
