Investment Pro Lends Financial Advice

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Whether its saving for your child’s college education, squirreling away funds for a dream vacation, or building a retirement nest egg, Portland Community College will offer solid planning advice in a non-credit class in personal finance this summer. Finance professional Bradley Hayes will walk students through the basics in Personal Investment Strategies for Personal Use. Both the novice and the experienced investor will benefit from lessons on incorporating CD’s, treasury bonds, corporate and tax-free bonds, stocks, natural funds and annuities. Hayes will also offer techniques for analyzing your investment portfolio on the way to your final goal.The non-credit class will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, July 11 through July 25, in Room 1533 of PCC’s Capital Center, 18624 N.W.
