Seniors: Internet Class Will Send You Surfing

HILLSBORO, Ore. – This summer, seniors can learn to how to find lost friends, trace family history, make travel plans and more – all through the power of the Internet. Portland Community College will offer Intro to the Internet for Seniors through a partnership with the Hillsboro Public Library.Instructor Diane Shingledecker will offer a step-by-step approach to surfing the Web, using email and more. The non-credit class will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 8 through Aug. 20, at the Hillsboro Public Library, 775 S.E. 10th Ave. Cost is $41.For more information, call PCC Community Education at 503-533-2917.
