Your Creative IQ: Course Reveals Capabilities for Future Careers

BEAVERTON, Ore. – You are more intelligent than you think, because you are intelligent in more ways than you know! A new Portland Community College non-credit course will unlock your creative gifts and hidden talents this summer through the use of Multiple Intelligence Theory.Through the application of games, quizzes and puzzles, How to Use Your Creative IQ – Nine Kinds of Smart is designed to offer students measurable insights into their personal potential, while exploring how to use this information in the rapidly changing job market. The class will be taught by Sandra Shipley."By their very nature, human beings are multi-talented,"said Amy Reardon, Community Education manager. "Especially in today’s job market, this class can be a powerful force for helping people recognize their many strengths and how to channel those strengths into new careers."The two-part class will meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 and Aug. 8, at PCC’s Capital Center, 18624 N.W.
