Earn Windows Certificate Through PCC Computer Class

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Community College will offer an opportunity to update job skills and secure professional recognition this fall. Two upcoming non-credit classes in Microsoft Office will teach the basics through hands-on instruction led by Jana Taft Irvan. Microsoft Office Training Program: Level I will cover all functions of Windows software including Office, Excel and the Internet. After completing the class, students will earn a Program Completion Certificate. Microsoft Office Training Program: Level II will continue to build computer skills using the Windows environment. The class is designed as a continuation of the Level I course, but is also appropriate for those with fundamental skills who are seeking a deeper level of instruction.Level I will be offered three times, as follows:4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 24 through Nov. 12.7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 24 through Nov. 12.3:45 to 5:45 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 23 through Nov. 18.Level II will be offered as follows:6 to 8 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 23 through Nov. 18.
