Body Size, Image Topics on Tap in PCC St. Helens Class

ST. HELENS, Ore. – Not happy with your body size? It may be the voice of Hollywood talking – not you. Get the facts about body size and how our self-image can be distorted by the forces in today’s media with an upcoming Portland Community College non-credit class. Healthy Body Image, led by Candace McCormick Clarke, will discuss the role that body image, fat, and food play in your life while offering discussions in a safe, neutral environment. The class is designed to put you back in control and lay the foundation for lasting change.The class will meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 8 through Feb. 12, in Room B51 of St. Helens High School, 2375 Gable Road.
