Digital Photography Made Simple with PCC Non-Credit Course
Photos and story by James Hill
HILLSBORO, Ore. – Digital photography is supposed to be simple. Why is it then that for many of us, "digital"means a complicated roadblock to taking great pictures? Let Portland Community College unravel the mystery of your digital camera and help you take control of your equipment with an upcoming non-credit course. Digital Photography Simplified explains the basics of digital photography without all the technical jargon. Instructor Rick Tucker will explain how to determine the best camera for your needs, transfer images from camera to computer, edit images with graphic programs and much more. Students can bring their cameras and learn together in a fun, supportive environment. The four-part class will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 6 through Jan. 27, at Century High School, 2000 S.W. 234th Ave. Cost is $37.
