Russian celebration at PCC

SOUTHEAST CENTER – Portland Community College will host a Russian celebration at the Southeast Center, 2850 S.E. 82nd Ave. The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 10. The event, dedicated to International Women’s Day, will feature vendors with traditional Russian crafts, traditional Russian food and entertainment.Performances will include local Russian musicians and singers from the community and PCC. The Southeast Center event is staged to introduce students and staff to Russian culture and promote diversity, say organizers.For more information on the Russian celebration, contact Larissa Sofronova-Allen, bilingual instructor and department chair in the PCC Prep Alternative programs, at 503-788-6138.
