PCC offers crash course in ballroom dance

PORTLAND, Ore. – As you make plans for the perfect wedding, don’t forget the reception dancing that follows. Just in time for your wedding day, Portland Community College will present Ballroom Dance – A Crash-Course for Weddings / Special Events. Instructor Alisa Hurst will feature special moves for your first dance as a couple as well as basic dance steps for members of the wedding party and guests. Sign up with your complete wedding party as a great way to share in the excitement before your big day. The non-credit class will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturdays, April 19 through May 10, in Room 101 of the HT Building at PCC’s Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Cost is $30. Students are asked to wear dance shoes; high heels, black-soled, tap or street shoes are not permitted. For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-731-6692.
