Photojournalist leads class at PCC

Photos and story by

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Good photographers know that the key to great pictures is being able to use your eyes as if they are your lens. Now you can learn this technique from an expert in an upcoming non-credit class offered by Portland Community College. David Falconer, retired chief photographer at The Oregonian, will lead The F-Stops Here, a comprehensive photography class designed to help you make the most of your camera. The class includes a fieldtrip and plenty of opportunities to share your pictures with the group. The class will meet from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday from April 5 through May 10 at PCC’s Washington County Workforce Training Center, 18624 N.W. Walker Road. Cost is $63. For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-533-2707.
