Soaring Crane Qigong class restores health, movement

PORTLAND, Ore. – More than 20 million people worldwide have discovered the healing benefits of Qigong. Portland Community College will offer a non-credit exercise class this spring that highlight a specialized form of this ancient form of meditation. Soaring Crane Qigong will use slow movement, breathing and meditation to harness your energy. Instructor Deborah Espesette will help you explore simple remedy routines that can be easily incorporated into daily life. The class will be held from 7:45 to 9:15 p.m., Wednesdays, April 2 through June 4, in Room B9 of Jefferson High School, 5210 N. Kerby Ave. Cost is $63.50; students have the option of purchasing a $35 workbook and audio tape from the instructor at the first class.
