ST. HELENS, Ore. – You’ve mastered the basics of your digital camera, but now, how about all of those extra gadgets and software capabilities you’ve seen listed in the manual? Portland Community College will help you learn about these and much more in an upcoming non-credit class. Digital Photography: Intermediate will incorporate weekly photo projects to get you to full camera proficiency. Instructor Ronald Barnett will include labs with Photoshop software to help you create manipulations and layers for stunning pictures. The class will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursdays, April 10 through May 22, in Room A1 of St. Helens High School, 2375 Gable Road.
