Northview Gallery presents art student show

SYLVANIA CAMPUS – The Sylvania Campus Department of Art presents a group exhibition featuring work created by Portland Community College art students, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics and graphic design. More than 100 works of art will be on display in the campus’ Northview Gallery, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave., CT Building. The show will run from Friday, May 9 through Friday, June 6, 2003. An artists’ reception is set for 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 12, in the foyer of the Performing Arts Center. Parking is free and open to the public for this event.“Portland Community College’s art and graphic design departments have a history of nurturing some of the area’s most interesting and skillful artists,” said Marie Watt, gallery curator and on the art faculty at PCC. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment, 503-977-8017.
