Herb class offers home remedies, good health

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. – Discover how to blend ancient herbal recipes into cures for modern illnesses. A non-credit Portland Community College class will explain the healing benefits of herbs and how to incorporate them into your daily life.Herbs for Health and Healing will take the mystery out of natural remedies with a hands-on session in herb blending. Instructor Elise Schroeder will also lead students on an herbal identification walk. From picking freshly grown plants to bottling them for your family healthcare, the class offers a complete look at the process of incorporating herbal approaches."This is a great way to learn safe and affordable natural remedies for you and your family,"says Cecelia Barry, PCC Community Education manager.
