Oregon Coast field trips offered for photographers

PORTLAND, Ore. – Take a trip to the beach this summer and come back with your own photographic art. Portland Community College will offer Field Photography at the Oregon Coast in July – a non-credit excursion class designed to combine expert photography lessons with a challenging, inspirational subject.The class includes in-class instruction and three all-day Saturday trips featuring specially chosen waterways for capturing the sand and surf. Instructor Gary Hilton will offer professional critiques of your work and methods to move you toward masterful photography. "What could be better in July?"says Julie Wolleck, PCC Community Education manager. "Sign up with a friend and enjoy an exhilarating day at the coast while you polish your photography."The class will be offered from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesdays, July 9 through July 26, in the Cedar Room in the College Center of PCC’s Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. The class will include field trips taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturdays, July 12 through 26.
