Plan events like a pro with PCC non-credit class

TIGARD, Ore. – Whether it’s a candlelight dinner party for ten, or a fabulous wedding for 300, a Portland Community College class can help you pull them all off like a professional event planner.Event Planning, a non-credit class, will show you how to turn an event into a successful and unique experience while coming in under budget. In five weeks, you’ll be able to host a function that will be as hassle-free for you as it will be for your guests.The class will by taught by Wendy Sample, a professional event planner and longtime instructor for PCC Community Education."Wendy’s classes are always so popular,"says Tsipora Dimant, PCC manager. "She brings a sense of enthusiasm to her classes that students truly enjoy. You’ll catch her confidence and excitement about event planning and be eager to use your new skills." The class will meet from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesdays, June 25 through July 16, at the Tigard Senior Center, 8815 S.W. O’Mara Street.
